The warmer, sunnier days are upon us, and we’re excited to introduce Nest Design’s Spring and Summer collection, By the Sea. This collection has ten new hand-drawn prints. Eight of the prints have been inspired by the stories you’d find by the seaside. Our other two prints celebrate the tiger, the zodiac animal of the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year).
The Inspiration Behind Our SS'22 Collection
Our By the Sea collection features new ocean friends including hermit pals, floating seals, playful seagulls, and majestic sea fans. In the Spring and Summer, we celebrate time spent where the sun warms our skin, the ocean breeze floats by, the rumbling waves meet the sand, and the chorus of seagulls playfully dance along. It is a time where children may feel their toes in the sand for the first time or learn to forage for the most beautiful seashells.
The collection’s colours are soft and nuanced in a place where time stops, worries drift away, and memories are made.

Our prints this season are inspired by the seaside, a place where the rumbling waves, the warm sand, and the bright sun become the perfect playground for our little ones.
SS'22 Prints: Tiger Zodiac Prints
To celebrate the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year), we’re releasing two prints to honour the Year of the Tiger. The tiger is an animal that symbolizes power, bravery, and strength. Our two new prints, Thirsty Tiger and Jungle Stripes honours the tiger’s charm, confidence, and playfulness. Learn more about our Tiger Zodiac Prints.
A Lighter TOG for the Warmer Season
The warmer weather means less layers and lighter, breathable fabrics. This season, you’ll find our sleep bags and sleep suits in lower TOGs from 0.5 TOG to 1.0 TOG. Switching to a lower TOG will keep your little one cooler and more comfortable through the night.

Your little one is constantly on the move as they grow! That’s why we’ve added extra snaps along the foot cuff and all the way to the bottom to our 1.0 TOG sleep suits. This helps prevent your little one from taking off their sleep suits during the night and keeps them comfortable and safe.

Your little one’s baby soft skin will love our new Signature Avo fabric. This exclusive blend of avocado, bamboo, and cotton materials feels unbelievably soft and provides the perfect breathability needed for your little mover.
Our SS'22 Charity Partnership: Ocean Conservatory
This season, we’re excited to partner with Ocean Conservatory. The non-profit organization is dedicated to protecting the ocean and creating science-based solutions for a healthy ocean.
For over 40 years, they have been working internationally to fight for a healthy ocean through people, science, and policy. Today, millions of volunteers of all ages participate globally in the International Coastal Cleanup – one of the many programs the non-profit organization runs.
Did you know the ocean produces over half of the world’s oxygen? Ocean Conservatory works to make the ocean a healthier place for the animals and communities that surround it healthier. Ultimately, they believe that a healthy ocean creates a healthy planet.
